I've corresponded in the past with folks like Michael Badnarik (back in '04) and the same issue exists today as it did back then - we HAVE the right candidates. What we don't have is a communications medium that'ds equivalent to the one that's owned by the controllers of the Dem/GOP cabal.

I even heard local radio mocking Ron Paul during the '08 election campaigns. And some of them claim to be libertarian! Who do they think they're fooling? if even the so-called libertarians are using mainstream broadcasting to demonize the most patriotic candidates, do we honestly expect to promote ANYONE with a sound, ethical, Constitution based platform?

Ask yourself this question, Sean: The last time that you ran for election, did you receive equal or fair coverage by corporate controlled media in our local market?

We have the right candidates with the right philosophy. The media either ignores them or demonizes them. What we need is the right medium. Find that and you'll find a favorable response from the voters.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8026011413521090255.post-50694883627059197142009-04-30T13:37:00.000-04:002009-04-30T13:37:00.000-04:00I know it's not "party line" for me to say so, but...I know it's not "party line" for me to say so, but regardless of the labels we just need the right candidates with the right philosophy and with principles they won't sacrifice.

I like Ron Paul just fine even though he's a Republican. Jeff Flake of Arizona isn't as bad as most. Mark Sanford (Gov of SC) has a bit of a anti-Federalist, pro-liberty streak in him. BUT, without doubt, the Libertarian Party has been the most consistent and the most vocal in trying to tell everyone that we are on the wrong path, focusing on the wrong things and undermining our future as a nation.

People need to quit confusing membership in a club with being the same thing as having a consistent ideology and true understanding of the issues.Sean Shepardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04784017076656340302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8026011413521090255.post-65672293478240495802009-04-30T12:53:00.000-04:002009-04-30T12:53:00.000-04:00I couldn't agree more. You definitely are no alone. And seeing all those folks at the tea party gave me an insight. I am not alone either! Now to convince them to not vote or support the two parties...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18175001701363350893noreply@blogger.com
